I have a samsung MS28 drive and I screwed up and did not save my original firmware before flashing 1.6 to it. Is there anyway to fix it. The keys do not match and it will not load a game. Any help would be great, I just missed the step on the tutorial. Man I feel stupid.

Rackovanz, did you dump this drive before flashing? If so, most recent Jungle Flasher versions have feature that automatically saves your dvdkey to your computer (dvdkey database basically). What version of Jungle Flasher are you using? To give it a shot, start up Jungle Flasher and hit CTRL + F12. Should bring up the database.

everything will work just you will not be able to play games,,so keep it,,you know on xbox live you can buy 360 game now and other stuff so your not dead in the water yet,,but you have to have a big harddrive,,so get a bigger harddrive and download your games and the game play will be 10 better then the disc,,

If he is using version 0.1.64 or higher, he is not screwed. JF populates the DVDkey and info into a database when ever a drive is dumped.

I never dumped the original drive, thats the problem. I just copied new firmware on to it. I know I am retarded. Can I just by a mother board and retrieve the key from it and then flash it to my current drive?>

No you can't, every motherboard has a different key so it wont match yours, and at the moment there is no way of retrieving the drive key from the motherboard.
The only other solution is to buy a motherboard with its drive key and then you should be able to flash it to your drive.

After countless threads starting everyday with HOW DO I FLASH MY DRIVES DOODZ and with the JF guide having step-by-step instructions on how to do it, I really don't feel bad for you.

Ok, just take back to walmart and see if they take it back...If not then buy a new arcade version and then exchange everything out(mobo drive etc.) of the new one and put in your xbox case, and put your worthless xbox in the other case then take it back...lol

I think you can do it with an Infectus modchip.
