i have a 4.1 NTSC-U 64+ wii w/ homebrew channel installed on it.... and a CI/Ios 38 Rev 14 installed on it.... i ran the miospatcher... and everything seemed like it installed fine.... but then i put a multi-game ntsc disk that i burned into the wii and ran the back up launcher and the green logo kept flickering and going up and down the screen... and then there was some white text on a black screen but i couldn't read it because the backup- launcher kept flickering...
could it be because i don't have CI/ios 249 installed (i don't believe i can install that because it might brick my wii.... i was an idiot awhile ago to upgrade to 4.1 :(

You may have burned a different region's ISOs onto your disc. Even if you didn't, it always helps to insert a dvd of your own region before you boot the GC backup loader, then, after loading it, insert the disc you wish to use. At least then you will be able to read the options, and thats a good start. After that, you can try force PAL or NTSC depending on your region, though, not all games support that.
