rrod with flashing green

I'm doing two units right now, one has a flashing green light and on has a solid green light. neither of them are heating up. I've had them on for almost an hour and its still cool to the touch. any ideas? I bought these on ebay so I could take them apart and practice these are my first attempt. I tried the towel but thats not working either...

Wait, what's the problem? Can they play games and do they start up? If you did the towel trick you could have destroyed them for good.

no i just pulled it apart and cleaned and replaced the paste it already had the xclamp mod on one and not on the other so i added penny trick to that one. They both have the 0002 error. I'm going to take them both apart again and try to get at least one to work.

From a quick google search error 0002 can be fixed by "reflowing the south bridge". If it were me I would get someone with a proper reflow station to reflow it, but you could try to reflow it with a hot air gun (not recommended).
