I wan to apologize in advance if this question has been answered before, i saw some threads on kind of like this but everyones problem seemed to be outdated firmware so here we go.
Lets start off with the facts:
Xbox has a hitachi 59DJ drive
Flashed it with ixtreme 1.51 with jungle flasher
Dumped the firmware to make sure flash was actually successful and it was
Ran the iso through abgx360, everything was green. veri and ss passed
burned .dvd with img burn and clone cd used memorex and verbatim.
So after all od this i pop the disc in and it spins up and down like 4 times then just kind of clicks until the "open tray" dialog shows up on the screen. I ran the disc through abgx as well and everything checks out again. So im kind of at a loss as to what could be wrong. I should also note that originals play fine. idk if this means anything but i put the disc in my computer and the put this disc in a 360 popped up, i guess that means it was a good burn? So i guess i was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and solved it or if anyone has any idea what could be wrong. Thanks in advance for the help.
Well I'll be damned, it Worked! haha I didnt think that was going to do the trick but it did. Now the Verbatim disk works but memorex still dotn casue they blow lol. I wonder how long itll work this way hopefully it will be fine for a while. Thanks for the great but simple idea. saved me from buying some new hardware. thansk again
