OK i have fixed two xboxes including mine with the x clamp fix. On mine i didnt even re apply the thermal paste i just put the screws in... Well my friends i fixed by puting on new thermal paste, and then over heat, then cool down all that stuff. It worked for about a month and a half then it got it again. The I did the same thing making sure the thermal paste covers the whole thing, then it did it again a month later. Then I fixed it and again a month later it got the 3 rings again! Now its the 4th time im about to do it and i was wondering if anyone has any tips on what i could be doing wrong. What it does is start to freeze up then eventually gets 3 rings. My xbox got it once i did the x clamp fix and has not gave me any problems for over 9 months. So if you can help that would be great!
