Xbox Backup Creator "READ" Question

Hi

I have Xbox Backup Creator version 2.9 and am backing up some of my original 360 games with my SH-D162C Kreon drive. On the READ part of the backing up process, it is set to 12X speed by default. Should I lower that read speed to either 4X or 8X or just leave it. Just want to make sure I get an accurate read. Thanks to all in advance.
