My console is one of those D3 versions, and when trying to run preloader, Homebrew refuses to run. Whenever I do try to run it I get this message "error autobooting hbc, maybe title not installed." So far I have tried to uninstall, and then reinstall, Homebrew, however that did not work. So my question now is what is wrong?
Also, where I'm having trouble downgrading, I was thinking of downloading a 3.2 and a 4.0 update by using the NUS Downloader. What I was planning to do with the 4.0 update was to uninstall it, and then with the 3.2 update, install that. However, I figured that would cause trouble, since it's not just the system menu, but also the IOS files you got to worry about. Am I correct in this line of thought?
Download this. You can install the .DOL file in Preloader, then set it to autoboot. Alternatively, you can just install the .WAD. However, you will wound up with two HBCs which isn't that big of a deal because you can just hide one on the very last page.
For your second question, what is the point of downgrading? You can opt to stay at 4.0 or even upgrade to 4.1 and everything should be fine. What exactly are you trying to accomplish?
