iso burning problem

hi i have problem with buring halo iso file.
i burnt it with clone cd and it says it was burnt sucessfully but whrn i put it in the xbox it doesn't do anything. it goes in to dvd mode (xbox 360 logo screen).
can someone please tell me what i did wrong? thanks

You need to give more info if you want help.
(important) Is your 360 flashed? And with what firmware?
(more important) Did you set the layer break?
(pretty important) Did you/have you used ABGX360?
(even more important) Are you using Verbatim DVD+R DL media?
(and most important of all) Have you even read the Ultimate Sticky?

what kind of info??
like i believe i didnt do anything wrong with buring process, i did
1)write from image file
2) click on halo.iso
3) put in dvd dl
4) says it ws burnt successfully.
5) put it in my modded xbox and it went into xbox dvd player..
6)but when i play it in my laptop it says this disc is only for xbox ;/

it is flashed, i've been playing with burnt cd that i bought it from this person since last year and this si my first time burning games.

Did you download the game and try to burn it?? and is your xbox flashed with 1.6 firmware??

Clonecd will not automatically set the layerbreak.
How would it know to do that?

i tried with imageburn and same thing happened..
and did firmware 1.6 just cameout? and is having older firmware means that i cant play new games? i dont know which version is my firmware is, since i got someone to do it.

i think i know what your problem is,
what speed are you burning at?
You said that you always used someone elses burned disk, it probably means you don't have much burning experience. Make sure the speed is set at 2.5x and NOTHING HIGHER.

Dude, you consistently give out bad information. First off, 2.5 isn't even right. I assume you meant 2.4. Second, that is just incorrect. I consistently burn my game at speeds ranging from 4x - 8x and have not had any issues.
Do some research and quit posting bogus information.

ooooooo it could be, like on my disc is says 2.4x so i will give it a shot. hopfully it works!

If your console was flashed last year, then new wave 3 games won't work because you need at least iXtreme 1.51 (and preferably 1.6) installed in order to play them.

You can play wave 3 games on earlier flashes, you just need to patch it with a program. Also my Burner doesn't write below 4x and I've burnt with 100% success (1 game.. lol)

1)yes it is flashed,i belive it is flashed lastyear and it was latest at the time.
2) yes i did

4) no i'm using fujifilm dvd+r dl

Well your problems are numbers 1,4 & 5.
1. update from last year's version in order to play wave three games.
4. use Verbatim DVD+R DL. No FujiFilm, no Memorex, no TDK, no substitutes.
5. Most importantly, read read and read the Ultimate Sticky. Then read it again.
