I am trying to copy a 360 game with CLONEcd, and than write using imgburn, i went and bought the DVD+RDL and when i got to burn the disc with the ISO it states that it doesnt need to use a dual layer, as well i have wasted one cd, and when i inserted it into the xbox, it loads up the xbox 360 screen.

Others might not be confused but I am.
You are copying a game with clone cd then writing using imgburn?
Don't you have the iso of the game your going to burn?
Run it through abgx360 then that will provide you with a .dvd file then you need to burn that. Don't forget to set layer break and did you download the game from a website? it may already have the .dvd file so u can just burn straight away.

I am sorry for confusion, i am really just wanting to make back up discs. So I can't rip the 360 game? With CloneCD? and just use that ISO that it gives me?

I have and almost every search i have done, when someone has asked the question has gotten that reply, and yes i went off of some tuts on here, but obviously I am missing something here.

I have a hard time believing that you've seriously searched, because in AT LEAST one of those searches you'd have noticed that you need a "special" drive and "certain" software to read/rip 360 games.

There are 3 ways of doing it,
1 Kreon Drive as mentioned.
2 Modified Xbox drive with 0800 firmware
3 xWripper method.

If you use the Wxripper method you have to get a security sector file, they are available on the net. Merge the iso with the ss file and blah blah blah... just follow tuts that are out there.

The Wxripper method is a waste of time, it's easier just to spend $40 on a kreon drive.

I agree and dis-agree at the same time. Yes its a ballache, but if your a cheapscate (like me :) ) then its the cheapest way.
