At one point almost 2 years or so ago I had a friend install cfw on it (i think it was 2.x variety but im not sure) I remember it took him about 5 minutes and he was elated that I had the original psp and battery as well as I guess its the easier to manipulate.
It was fine. I used some emulation etc.
I have not used my psp in ages - I picked up Madden 10 and it needed psp firmware 5.5 - installed right from the disc. Installed fine.
Turns out the game randomly crashes ALL the time. Then it hit me - o damn I think i had a modded psp. (its been that long) So i try madden 08 which was always fine and ...it is unstable to. I am now on firmware 6.10 and I went into system settings - restore defaults, but I it still crashed on my once (it still just freezes or completely turns off during game)
Is there a process I need to do to really wipe my psp clean and start fresh? I have no idea about this scene, but am taking an educated guess that doing the ofw to cfw back to ofw is my cause.
try makin a pandora batt and mms if u need links use my sig both rains mms makers work on xp and vista 2 bring it back down 2 cfw or 150 use simple mms maker if u want 150(its the 1st fw ever)
or u can go back 2 cfw and rip an iso of madden 10 and patch it and upgrade 2 cfw 550 genb2 and play it there
u need to format it in ur psp, run the rains mms maker like u did, then make a pandora battery(guides r better on youtube(in my sig)than on google) and after u make both u turn off ur psp, put in the mms, hold L, then put in the pandora battery, it should boot into a black screen and white letters then do wat the screen ses
I currently have no cfw on my psp, I had one , but my game updated it to ofw 5.5 and now 6.1.
I think the issue is my battery may still be pandora. But how do I make it normal again from 6.1? Everything i find assumes you have CFW already installed.
