I recently purchased a brand new 360 with BenQ Drive I believe (the wire is white on the inside of the drive, but the label says Phillips & Lite-On).

My question is which should I use? I tried using jungle flasher but when I click BenQ Unlock it gives me an error message. Something to the effect of "Benq-Un-lock command has an Error." I am not sure why it is doing this because it recognizes my 360.

I am considering using iprep 10.7, but from looking at the initial part of the video I don't see when they save the original key or where to even get the original key. I am trying really hard not to brick my drive. Any suggestions?

Look on top of the DVD drive. What is the model name: VAD6038 or DG-16D2S?

Fuck! it's a lite-on. I don't want to buy a ck3 or xtractor, those damn things are expensive. I just went through 4 xboxes. One with the RROD at launch and bricked drive, One with laser issue (xmas present for my bro), one refurbished that ended up getting E74 after warranty is up, and now I just bought a new xbox that has lite-on that needs extra things.

I make decent money and can afford it but this is ridiculous. I am just trying to recoup some of the sunk costs by being able to burn "back ups"

Is there anyway around using the probe or xtractor? How about iprep?

you have to have the spear and some sort of connectivity kit to flash the 7000 series lite-ons.

Come talk with us on efnet at #elitemods !!! or just click ME
