GamesIndustry.biz has reported today that Sony is noting that the newly launched PSPgo handheld is selling 'in line with our expectations,' as well as helping a boost in PSP-3000 sales. sony later added that overall sales of PSP hardware, all models, was up 120 percent week-on-week

Well if you sell 3 psp in one week and sold 4 the next week of course you a boost of more than 100% in sales :P

lol but then again the chances of that are pretty..whats the word sony likes to stick into everything to make it sound better..ah right , pretty slim*

Nah. I'm betting it will be just like the PS3 launch. Like the PS2 launch. Like the PS1 launch. And like all console launches really..

They start off with a stupidly large price, which only true technophiles can afford. Then they drop the price by a massive percentage and then normal people then start buying it. Expectations probably aren't that great if Sony had any realism built in. =P

They do have that Gran Turismo pack out now, so a lot of people could well be getting it, driving PSP3000 sales up.

On a side note, how did they come up with 3000?
