Got an elite that was purchased beginning of last year, never opened, from what I have read, the e-73 (1 red light, ethernet port error)isnt covered under 3 year warranty. Any suggestions??

What I do is pull the power cord out from the xbox a little bit so you it displays 3 rrod and take a picture of it. Then submit it under 3 rrod warranty and attach a note to the xbox (along with the picture) saying that it switches between 3 rrod and e73. It's worked every time I've tried it.

Thanks for that input but when I start to nudge the cord out it just cuts off....I cant seem to find the middle ground between the power cord not making contact at all and it making full contact. Is there a certaing angle the power cord has to be at or something to get the 3 rrod?
