was wondering, if i hook my CK3 up to my serial port it should reconize it , yes? using jungle flasher to get my com port for dosflash but it isnt reconized. i also noticed under device manager that my comport isnt my serial port.
is there a driver maybe?

You don't have to install a driver for the serial (db-9) port. This is what mine says in JF:

Port: COM1
Type: Standard
Name: Communications Port
Status: Ready

bonita!!!!me too.

just wondering, how come when i load dosflash and i get to the mk vendor failure(i hit no to resend), i keeps lidting all my ide and no sata?
its a laptop, serial ATA/SATA card(6421 compatible)i try putting in my port (0xFED0)but it keeps reading my IDE connections.

hey i appreciate all you have done.i have tried to follow your tutorial
but i cant get the drivers to work right.even tried the uniata.everytime i rename it goes yellow.

Tick the box under DVDkey32 tab that says VIA ports only.

was just told that i cant use my sata card cuase in dos the driver isnt loaded.so iwas told to use dosflash1.8 for windows.
i turn on the drive load doshflash32 and it doesnt read my flashkit and stays at 0x51.(CK3)
so i skip that and try to read and fails.no flash devise found on that port. u can use the ck3 usb since its in windows right?

What drive are you trying to read?

the drive im flashing is the liteon 7series, im using a laptop and the newest release of dosflash32.exe
i turn on liteon then run dos32, the port id wrong on the forst shot so i correct it.pointing it to the right one is sees the liteon but i get no tk vendor(or something)so i hit no, knowing what com it is(through jungle flasher) and try to read w/probe connected.no love....
so i try again resending vendor info hoping to see the CK3 kit on the com ...gets stuck on 0x50 or Dx** something.?

i have suffered the freeze twice thinking i fixed it...
forgot if i mention this: i realized being a laptop(and some help)i cant run DOS cuase the driver(6421??) wont load.

help to a nice tut or walkthrough would be loved....
