I got my Xbox360 patched with iXtreme 1.6. I've downloaded a bunch of isos and started to burn them. I'm using Imgburn 2.5, Verbatim DVD+R DLs and the drive that I'm using is a TSSTCorp TS-L632D (which is supposed to be a Samsung drive I think). Running WinXP SP3.
I've got a bunch of games which I got my brother-in-law burned for me - Batman: Arkham Asylum, Star Ocean TLH, Prototype, Ghostbusters, MUA2 - all of these games work perfectly on my 360. I then downloaded Halo ODST and tried to burn it - the burning process completed successfully (I followed all steps on tutorials I could find, setting the layer break, setting the booktype etc).
But when I tried playing it, my 360 would say "reading" and then after a few moments would just give me an "open tray".
I've even tried burning at a lower speed (first tried burning at 4x, then 2.4x) to no avail. I also tried burning on a brand new Liteon eSAU108 external DVD Writer. I've already gone through 5 discs all with the same results. Aside from the booktype and layer break, is there any other setting I should change in Imgburn. I'm pretty sure it's not my discs because my brother-in-law uses the same type of discs (swears by them in fact).
do you get this problem only with the games you've burned or with all your games?
if this is happening with all your games try this ( it worked for me ):
first put a game in your xbox 360 and then turn your xbox off. then push the eject button get your cd out and push the tray back in the xbox then wait 5 sec. and turn your xbox off again( do this as fast as you can). if you do it correctly you will hear your laser adjusting.

Actually this problem only happens with the games I've burned. All my other games work fine.

then the problem is the way you burn the games.
check if the layerbreak is set right, write speed and uncheck the verify box + check if the game is ok with abgx360.
maybe your dvd burner isn't compatible with burning xbox 360 games because i heard not all the burners are burning xbox games ( im not sure )
Ensure you have 2 files, an Iso and a DVD file(open file with note pad, check layerbreak =1913760) double clicking on the DVD file will open ImgBurn, make sure that burn speed is no more than 4x.
