I have finally found my long lost Fat PSP 1001 :), and it still has 1.50 Official firmware on it. Can anybody tell me what sequences/steps I should follow to upgrade it to the latest CFW without bricking it?

I have been out of the scene on the day I have misplaced it.

Also I would prefer to do it without the Pandora battery if possible.

Since you have 1.50 fw I'm guessing you can run anything on it, then just download 5.00gen firmware and it's 2 updates gen-b and gen-b2
