I am at my wits end here and any help is appreciated! I keep getting the no firmware loaded error when i try to load the firmware in iprep 10.1.

I have already updated the definitions and rebooted a million times. I have also tried using an older version of iprep.

The strange thing is i have used iprep in the past just fine. What the hell is going on?

Id like to stick with DOS. I know i can do it manually w/ dosflash, but i feel like iprep has defeated me:(

I was just using iprep to make a bootable flash drive with the intent of using dosflash to copy and flash. I just can't get iprep working and i am having trouble making one on my own with mkbt. Luckily i found the last flash drive i created with iprep. i'll just use that, but i would still like to know why i'm having issues with both of these methods for creating bootable usb flash drives. I bet they are related. anyway...

What's the difference between dosflash32 and dosflash16? It apears one is dos and one is windows to me.

Slightly off subject; what is it called when someone uses an expensive machine (not a heat gun) to heat up the chips on your xbox 360 mobo (or any mobo) to make the solder points make better contact?
