well back for more.
i have determined due to laptop reasons that dosflash32(1.8) is my only option to flash my liteon. here are the steps i follow let me know if i am wrong in anyway!!!!!!!!!!
1.) plug in the liteon,ck3 usb cord(driver), and then the power source(wich is 4.98v coming out of my usb port)
2) run dosflash32(1.8) and i get the vendor fail(its ok there cuase thats not my port.)so i hit NO.
3)
this would be the correct port, so hit YES..then power off(dvd drive in service mode/half way open)power back on. i have waited 1 sec, 5 secs, even went out to smoke and cameback.
after poer back on(1sec, 5 secs, dont matter)
4)even have tried moving the tray all the way out and almost all the way in.
5)this what i get after i hit ESC.
looks all good except the vendor?
anybody have any ideas? this is a laptop, using CK3 usb cord,CK3 pro/with probe.
i vave all the info(keys ect) on the drive. i am trying not to get the freeze!!!!!
i also see that when i shutdown dosflash32 is ask me if i want to enable all cd/dvd drives as this might cuase freezing w/erased drive.
Can i disable dvd drives and erase w/jungle?
is there a way to erase the drive w/no freeze and flash w/jungle Flasher?
feel as if im in a hole i cant get out off.
