I am attampting to flash a liteon drive with jungle flasher. I dumped the key succesfully last night, then turned everything off for a good night sleep. This morning i have been trying to erase the firmware with so success. I keep getting the "80" not "72". I tried with JF and L-O-eras dos command. Does the probe need to still be in the r707 hole through out the process or just the dump?

Prob 1- The xbox drive no longer ejects. I have no idea why or if it even matters. Can i just eject it manually?

Prob 2- now when i turn on the xbox (while hooked up to my computer) my friggin mouse stops working! that didnt happen when i dumped the key.

I thought i was almost finished. HA, yeah right.

I would be grateful for any advice.

No. You only probe just to dump the info and then you are done with the probe. The flash is done via SATA.

You have no firmware on the drive. That is why it doesn't eject.

What type of SATA chipset are you using? VIA?

Make sure the VIA driver is removed:

1. Disable VIA card in Device Manager.
2. Go to C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers and remove "viamraid.sys" or "vsmraid.sys".
3. Re-enable VIA card in Device Manager.
4. Re-Boot PC.

That is what is causing the freezing. Once you have done that, turn on your drive and start up JF. Select the same I/O port you have been using. JF won't detect the drive because there is no firmware to give an inquiry response. Go ahead and click Intro/Device ID and you should gain access to the flash chip. If not, click Lite-ON erase again, and then disconnect the DVD drives power cable when you see the dots go across. Reconnect the power cable back within 1 second and you should get good flash chip properties.

Thank you so much leerage! It worked and the problem wasn't that strange after all. i erased the firmware again, but this tis i got the 72. I did see that part about the via drivers in one or two of the three tutorials i was using. My head was starting to spin when the drive wouldnt eject. When my mouse stopped working i didnt associate that with the driver, i was expecting it to completely freeze. Again, thank you
