rawdump2.0 dumpin to your laptop

hello
im finding it really hard to save my wii games on my laptop. rawdump is dumping ok. but i dont know were the games are saving on my laptop. my hard drive still has the same space as it did before i dumped the wii games. do i have to setup a folder for the rawdump to save the games to. (can anyone help me out please)

are you running the rawdump off an sd card or usb? If so you will find that it is saved right next to the folder that you opened to start the program.

no i open up (fixed rawdump), i have just put in the wii game an hit dump. wait 3hours, an the i cant find were it goes. ive looked everywere on my laptop for the games. do i need to extract the file to some were. or make a folder . so when i dump the game it will go to the folder. how do you find your games, when you are dumping. sorry if im not making since.

Rawdump (by default) dumps the game to the directory where Rawdump executable is.
ex. My Rawdump is at
f:\Wiiiso
I have a shortcut on my desktop to Rawdump
Rawdump puts the games in f:\Wiiiso

when im finshed dumping the wii game does it go on to my laptop straight away . im sorry it sounds stupid but ive dump 4 wii games and havent got a clue were the games have been saved to. thats even if there saving. im lost all together and i honestly think im doing something wrong. so if anyone can tell me how they save there games on to there pc i would be very grateful for any help. thanks

Did you even READ my post? I just told you where the file goes.
Where (what directory) did you install Rawdump to? In that directory you should see a 4GB+ file with the extension .iso
The Only reason you wouldn't see a file there is if Rawdump terminated unexpectedly, but then you should have seen an error message.

sorry havent got the hang of this yet.. thanks for the help. its not working. i have rawdump2.0 rar. i have dump 4 games now and still cant find were they end up. i just keep trying thanks for the help. i just find it weird that my hard drive dtill has the same space. its just like there dumping but not saving . thanks again. and i have a sd card , but its in me wii. and did you mean a usb card to. well i honestly taught it would be simple 2 save games on to my laptop. i have the lg dvdrom 8082n

The only other thing I can think of is if you download it again, I just used this.... http://download.chipper.se/index.php?dir...C/GAME_RIPPING/ It downloaded fine and extracted fine to my laptop-Windowsxp. I also have used the same drive you have. But have since advanced to the usb loader GX, that copies the games straight to the hdd in around 5 mins. Good luck

DAILUM. I did read your message and I thank you for trying to help me. sorry but I havent found any size of 4GB file. I have found rawdumo.exe 65,563 application. im using rawdump2.1. I put my wii game in to the LG8164n ok it takes 3hrs or more to dump and when its finshed, it does,nt say anything or what should I do next. I taught I could just find it and bring it over to IMGburn and it be happydays. I was woundering do I need to set up a file or folder so they can be saved to my desktop or creat a shortcut. i have tried both of the two and still cant find my games. look im sorry for wasting your time. it sounded it easy 2 use. it cost me 150euro so far. i will just give up so . but thanks lads for mailing back. o yea i have fixed rebuild an some other raw dump. what is copysoftware0904858 that came up after i saved a games ashs cricket. thanks again for answering me back DAILUM & WIIPLAYER cheers

sorry dailun didnt mean to spell the wrong way. i think i might have got it.. im doing fifa 10, an its came up fifa 10 image iso. am i on the right track now

Don't use rawdump 2.1!!!!!!
I have never gotten it to work successfully. I have seen other reports about it not working properly..
Dor SL games I use Rawdump 2.0
For DL games I use friidump .040
Rawdump 2.1 is most likely your problem.

what your joking..i have been ripped with copythatgame.com 50euro. then had to pay for a LG8164N 50euro, then i was told 2 get rawdump2.1rar what cost 30euro. ripped or what. see i couldnt wait when i got the modchip..awell theres a listen in all this.. get as much info as you can before wasting your dow.. thanks again dailun.. i try that one tonight.. and let you know how i get on..

dailun,, i got it working in rawdump2.0 i got 5games to work perfected. but to games just wont work on my wii, wii sports resort. an summer sports. i woundering did any1 ever get a problem with copying them. thanks again dailun . i also had a warning on my laptop has me worried saying scripts are causing your computer to slow down and will damage windows. what is this scripts

OK, you have successfully dumped games, but your burns won't work. That is probably something totally different.
1. How is your Wii modded?
2. What kind of media are you using (Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the best)
3. What are you using to burn the .isos? (Imgburn at 1/2 the rated DVD speed is best)
4. Wii Sports Resort requires the Motion Plus adapter (but should at least boot)
5. What error message are you getting when you try to play your backups?

i have got 7games burned, but wii sports resorted is the 1 thats not working . it is saying error switch of the power on my wii when i put in the copy, cums up in blue 2.

Thanks for not answering any of my questions.
There are known issues with Wii Sports resorts but since you didn't say how your Wii is modded I haven't a clue as to whether or not any of the known issues apply.
If you can't help me I can't try to help you.
