I'm playing a GH5 backup on my Wiikey 1 modded Wii. It works fine, but every 20 or so seconds, the game will freeze for a couple of seconds (the audio keeps playing), and then "catch up" to the audio, making me miss all the notes in the process, naturally.

The original game I made the backup from, doesn't have that problem, so I'm thinking it may be a faulty backup. However, since I can't get my hands on the original at the moment, is there anyway to fix this problem, or at least check the integrity of the backup iso? I tried checking it with Wii iso info and with Wii Update Manager, and they both say it's a good backup.

It could be the type of blank media you're using or the rate you're burning your backups. Use premier media e.g. Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden.
