Hi guys,

Recently had a problem with my 360 and unfortunately it seems the DVD drive is beyond repair.

I saved all the details(Key, original firmware etc) from the MS28 prior to me flashing it(I'm on 1.2 at the moment - Old school I know!) and I understand I have to flash the new drive(that I want to swap in) with the key of the old one?

I'm very inexperienced with flashing the 360(the last time I did it I used Iprep, not jungleflasher) so if someone could post a link to a guide or break it down for me, I would really appreciate it.

Before anyone else jumps in on this lol

Just swap the circuit board from the old drive into the new one and you wont have to re flash.

If you still want to flash to update then read the jungle flasher tut in the sticky section, all the info you need will be there.

I actually just recently flashhed a samsung ms28 with ixtreme 1.6

I used iprep to do it.

Get iprep v006 (since I am guessing you would be comfortable with using iprep again).

You'll have to get the updated definitions for it, but then same process. Loading firmware, building the usb drive, and then loading from it.

(that's if you swap the boards so you don't need to worry about spoofing)
