I thought I flashed the drive correctly but when i plug it back in the green light just keeps flashing and the drive wont eject unless i open everything back up and tilt it forward.
I used jungleflasher and a via 6421 btw is the drive done or can it be fixed.

Yes it can be fixed. As long as you have the original firmware, you are fine.

Do you have the VIA driver uninstalled?

If so, connect the drive back to the same SATA port you were using. It won't show in JF because there is no firmware to give an inquiry response. Go ahead and click Intro/Device ID and a pop-up box will come up. Click OK and dots will go across the bottom of the JF log. Disconnect the DVD drives power cable and reconnect the cable within 1 second. Should get good flash chip properties and you can now write the firmware.

Alright ill try that when i get home. Do I need to get it back to stock and start over again or just rewrite it as it is? From what i remember i saved 2 files, OFW and CFW, and also the dvd key in a notepad.

No just write the CFW. Only drives you have to worry about restoring to stock is Hitachis.

Depends at what stage your at, sound like its getting your drive in to vendor mode. But before I give any advice, any chance of you log or a screenshot?

Same thing happened to me last night... just forgot to click on OUTRO/ATA... then powered off. Slapped it back on the board and I'm good to go.

As miketrev said, some screenshots would be nice. =)

Good luck buddy.

If the mod disc worked, then you didn't have JF setup properly. JF is preferred and easier. You can have backups of your keys in more than one spot.
