k so i just finished doing all the dop ios as suggested in larrylje's guide but am still having the same issue where i put wii sports resort and even scooby doo(backup) it tells me to do a system update after i install gc support so when i update off the disc it kills my gamecube support..gamecube loads green screen then resets wii.i did all suggested ios and were downloaded patched and installed. afer i do the cmios intall from network everythings fine though...gc discs load right off disc channel and wii backups playing through neo gamma...updating off the disc kills it though.....

Are you playing the Wii Sports through NeoGamma? If so it shouldn't even ask for an update. As well try playing the Game Cube game from the NeoGamma loader instead of the normal disc channel.

its a real wii sports not a copy, it does it with the copied scooby doo game too,,,,it does it on gamma 7 too goes green then resets wii....thanks for replying

As I said I don't see why the update for Wii Sports would overwrite the cMIOS. I would install the cMIOS with the installer again. Then just boot your orignal games with NeoGamma so it dosen't ask for an update.
