alright apparantly my xbox is flashed with 1.5 cause i can't play wave 3 games
i will pay someone to flash it to 1.51
and with this update will i still be able to play on live without getting baned?

well i have the sata cord its just that im using a macbook soo nowhere to plug it in

yea you have to be careful reflashing the hitachi,,there easy to brick,,if you can get someone to flash it,,get them to save you the keys and if you have cash laying around,,get a benq,,the best drive i think,,

for any of the hitachs,,you dont need to solder,,there all done by software now,,,

if you can use a program called jungleflasher on your computer,,and if you have the right hardware on your computer then yes you can very easy,,just read the tutorials very carefully,,but if you dont trust yourself,,them yea get someone else,,but read and see maybe you might be allright,,

hey, if you are still wanting someone to flash your drive i will do it. i dont really like hitachis at all, since they are the worst drives to have. so if you are still wanting to replace it with a benq, it would make things easier on me, and yourself down the road. send me PM if you would like some more details and what-not.
PS. im located in indiana, so obviously you would have to ship me the console or the drive.
