Hi all,
I've posted a more detailed description here but the main problem is some of the wmv-hd files I encode with Expression Encoder 2 fail to show up on my 360, when burnt on a disc or put on a memory stick the file plays fine. I've searched around but have only found a few unanswered posts with the same problem, any ideas?

might want to just use tversity, as there is no need to encode anything, or burn it. just stream it over and be done with it. should save you a lot of encoding/burning time as well.

Come talk with us on efnet at #elitemods !!! or just click ME

ALSO, DO NOT SEND ME MESSAGES ON LIVE REGARDING MODDING CONSOLES, OR HOW I PLAYED A CERTAIN GAME EARLY. I WILL NOT RESPOND. I WILL INSTEAD DELETE YOUR MESSAGE, AND BLOCK ALL COMMUNICATION FROM YOU. JUST SEND ME A PM ON HERE.

So TVersity encodes 1080p mkv files on the fly then streams them to the 360 smoothly? If so Tversity has come a long way since I last tried to use it.

Going to try Zune software as apparently MS recommends it over WMP for streaming to 360, although never had a problem with the streaming (1080 wmvs play smooth over 54g wifi network!) just with a few encodes I have done myself with stereo sound (as opposed to 5.1)

Ok installed the Zune software and now I can stream the troublesome files, I forgot to mention that I am using Windows 7 RC 64bit, and I must assume therefore that WMP which comes with this OS is the problem, hopefully the problem would have been rectified for when my retail copy turns up, until then I'll make do with the Zune 4.0 software.
