I'm stuck...

I've followed Larry's SOFTMOD TUT and had success...updated all the IOS he recommends, updated shopping channel and did the tut for Guitar Hero and Rockband...

Trying to get Superdump to work...for some reason, no matter where I put the .dol file (root, apps, apps in a "superdump" folder) Homebrew doesn't see it...I noticed there's no "boot" file as with the other items in the apps folder but I'm at a loss...

This should be pretty damned easy and I was plugging right along...is it something goofy like homebrew will only "see" 8 applications (though that makes little sense)...

About to brick the damned thing myself!!!

Is the file named- superdump.dol? If so change it to boot.dol and try again.

Yep...suspect that's the case. Checked all the other apps and noticed it was lacking a "boot" file... currently names "superdump1.3.dol"...

Will try it tonight.

T'was the problem....

worked like a champ....roughly 30 minutes to put the disc to SD...

My current setup is a bit cumbersome....at least more so than a USB setup...that's the next thing I'm going to investigate....wanted to get functional first...then streamline...

usb is the way to go though. all you have to do is put the disc in and push the + and it loads the game section of the disc only. some of my games only take less than 1gig of space on the hdd. I go with usb loader gx.
