HELP WITH EX1000SL!!!!!!

hi all i am needing some help with my box plz

right here goes i have a ex1000sl it was working altho i only had channels 1 to 5 i put the flash into it "cant really remember what one dark horse or somthing or other"and now the bloody thing wont switch on. there is no power light but there is power going to it . when i plug it in my tv goes black "like it is on stand by" but no picture. i have opened it up and pressed the button inside to no avail and have changed the plug and lead.so any help would be gratefull and yes i have checked the batteries on the remote. thanks guy's

Sounds like the wrong firmware is on the box, find the right firmware and flash it again

no it has not worked the pc is not recognising the box as i think because it is not switching on. so i have put the box into the shop and i will post back to let you know how i get on. thanks anyhoo m8

No problem, What is the firmware you used to flash the box?

No problem, What is the firmware you used to flash the box?
the new flash i used was the one i got of this site the old flash i cant remember but any how do you know where i could purchace one of the high def boxes because i think i will cut my losses and try again thanks again dude.
