Thank god the update didn't ban hacked hd's.
i wouldnt buy one just yet. there hasnt been any confirmed dumps of the sshd.bin files. also, you might not even need to buy the hitachi drive. as with the 120 hack, the real drives were fijutsi, and the western digital drives were used for the hack. so ya.

yeah I didn't plan on buying I was just pointing out the fact that MS Memory is such a ripoff. Good looks though
drive in my console was the new 83580c drive but it was flashable and i flashed it and it works 100 %. so i got the 250 gbhd and the flashable liteon drive july 09 83850c drive what about that for luck. console manufacture date was 2009-08-26 by the way just for anyone who is interested :) forza console.
