Need help burning Halo 3: ODST, Please help me.

Hey, I've downloaded the Allstar version of the Halo 3 ODST torrent. My problem is that my burns fail. Im using the program OSX 360 (on a mac) to burn.
So what happens is that at about 50% of the burn, the burn fails. It says its finnishing but then I get the message: "Burn failed. Error...", and when i try running the game (wasted 4 discs so far) my xbox wants to play is as a dvd.
Im using discs that have worked before, the layerbreak is 1913760.
I succeded to burn the multiplayer disc. I noticed that the .iso file that was for the campaign disc had 3 maps when opened. Thought this was wierd since it only should be 2 (Audio and Video). Does anyone know why there is a third map called "$Security Update" and could that map be what causes the problem?
(And also, all my stealth checks have faild. Dont know if that mathers.)
Has anyone experienced the same problem or do anyone know what to do?
Please help me out, really need some help here.

i would just run windows in VM and use image burn. thats what most mac users do.

What type of dual layer discs are you using?
The "$Security Update" is normal. That is the NXE update in the video partition.
What exactly do you mean ... (And also, all my stealth checks have faild. Dont know if that mathers.) ??

im using "Traxdata dvd+r dl. they worked on all my other games.
the stealth checks i think is a check so that the game is'nt completly unsafe to play online (LIVE)

the thing is that my MacBook is'nt powerfull enough to run a windoes simulation program.
These discs worked on ALL my other games so i dont think thats the problem even if Verbatims are better.

it might also be a burner issue, but i guarantee using junk media is also hurting.
If you won't listen to that then let us know so we can stop wasting our time

Ok guys relax. Maybe i'll try with a Verbatim (although im pretty scared to waste one).
I've noticed that some pple use .dvd files to burn their games. Could that pose an issue since i've been using the .iso file (thats the file my burning-programs asked for).

possibly, but the best program to burn it with is imgburn, only available on windows.
the .dvd files sets the layerbreak of the disc.
See if you can use another computer

using the .iso isnt a problem if you have the layer break set correctly. and the reason we jumped on your ass is because about 1000000000000000000 times a day, new people come in here and say they are using some cheap POS media and will not buy verbs because their crap used to work and now it doesnt. theres a reason we tell you to buy verbs, and its not because we like to make you spend more money.

chill dude, why r u so mad?
so today i went and bought some verb dics and can u believ it, it didn't work this time either. And i tried running imgburn in Crossover but img could'nt find my writer (external).
Dont really know what to do...
