To anyone who has "obtained" a copy of Forza 3, what is the game like? I used to love Gran Turismo and after getting the xbox rather than a ps3 found Forza 2 to be excellent but now its finished :(
How is Forza 3 compared to 2? I tried the demo but to be honest found the cars lack "power"
Cannot wait to get my copy of it... two weeks left!

From the ratings and what I've heard in the rumor mill, the game is awesome. The game was designed with the new fanatec wheel in mind and everybody who has tried it vs the M$ wheel says its like night and day. Yes the demo was a bit lacking but thats ok. The more real you get the less people like so take that as a plus if you really like sim racing.

its alright. NFS has better graphics, but forza is more realistic i think.

yea, but customizing was better in previous NFS's such as most wanted, its been taken more of a legal aspect lately with the racing on closed tracks, no cops, but oh well.
on topic though, customizing in forza is mainly limited to color, aerodynamics, and wheels. not much in 'kick ass' body panels or carbon fibre hoods, or the like. but the game is still good.

Yes ive always seen nfs as more of a street racers game, making your cars "pretty" the street racing was perfectly suited to the nfs series but now its turning into a mixture of simulation and arcade, not a wise decision as far as im concerned as they are dropping allot of fans.
Forza and Gran Turismo are more my type of game though so im not too worried :P

Despite the fact that you suggested I may as well go ahead and play being that FZ3 shows on my dashboard, I am still hesitant. But outside of that, When you say The mods are limited, you not talkin about performance mods right? Man I just need to break down and play it. Are there people online with i? Geeze I just need to breakdown and play it. Are the tracks real nice? Man I should breakdown and play it. lol.

you still have all the performance mods, cam shafts, ignition, exhaust, the usual. but for visual, its mainly just paint/vinyl, rims and aerodynamic stuff. so no more stupid hoods with 48 foot cowl induction scoops.
