Hello People
I have a Xbox 360 with a BenQ drive, its not flashed and It has never been opened. It was working fine until yesterday when it just started ejecting disk tray at random. weather there is a game in the tray or not and even playing from the HDD it just automatically ejects. First I thought there might be a problem with the drive so I dumped the key and flashed it onto another BenQ with iXtreme 1.6 and the other drive has the same problem. Could there be a fault with the motherboard?

I am having the same problem and it is driving me crazy because I cannot find any answers. Please let me know if you figure this out and I will do likewise.

Have you checked where your eject button is, there is always a small peice of metal that falls off when you open your 360, its not fell down there has it?

I never opened this particular 360 when it developed this problem the security seal was intact. Im guessing there is a problem with the motherboard.

This happens with Samsung drives when the band starts to slip.
The laser assembly doesn't go up or down all the way so the tray would keep popping out to protect the disk and the laser assembly.

I could get past it by pushing the drive tray in with some force so that the laser would get up to the correct position until I could take it apart and fix it.

However I don't know if BenQ's are built the same way.
