Another BENQ flash help request.

I have a Benq drive.
I have a VIA6421 sata chip
I've booted everything to a usb

but when i attempt to boot from the usb it reads "BOOT ERORR. INSERT DRIVE DISC"

or something like that.

ive been trying to do this for about 3 1/2 weeks.

i just want to get it done wtih :[

firstly how have you prepared the usb drive and what with? doflash, iprep? are you unpluging all other devices and the big one is your pc able to boot from usb do you need to configure this in bios?

please give as much detail as you can.

alright well i tried using jungle flasher and when i opened it my drive wasnt being read by the program


xbox is on.

In both of your posts in this thread, you refuse to give enough info for someone to legitimately assist you, so your best bet is to follow leerage's BenQ tutorial step for step. Trust me, it will work.

Sorry that I havent been very specific about this.
Really all i did was follow a tutorial.


I bought this chipset:
IDE PCI SATA Serial ATA Card PC VIA VT6421A

although it seems my computer isnt detecting it.

I'm just going to forget using Iprep and attempt to use Jungleflash.
but my computer isnt detecting the sata chip.
