Is it possible to record audio through the PS3's HDMI output? My computer has a HDMI-in...I want to record some in game audio for listening.

Is this possible?

i dont know if it can be done using hdmi but why cant you use yhe rca jacks?

I figured since my computer has an HDMI in that would be the easiest way to go?

You need a HDCP stripper to remove encryption from HDMI.
RCA is not encrypted but its analogue not digital.

you can still capture it and once its on a pc you can do what ever you want with it. it is the easiest way to do it.
