So did the US version of Forza that was leaked verify OK in abgx360 or did it need autofixing?
SYMBYAX - I think you said that you're new to modding, so if your 360 is flashed with the latest iXtreme, it won't let you play non-stealthed games anyway. You should still use abgx360 to make sure that they verify if you want to keep the risk of a ban as low as possible though.

I am not 100% sure on this, but I believe it checked out okay. The way the bans were happening, it can be assumed from various things said from MS and the developers, is that they were going around and checking gamertags against a list of known reviewers and insiders, and banning those who didn't check out. Seems like it was an effort more on the developer's part than on the part of MS.
Still though, it is a first, as far as I know. MS seems to be stepping up their game.
All the non ABGX checked games I had played on my 360 were direct rips from originals using Schtrom don't know if that matters. Also to clear the cache is it just going under HD press Y then select that option or is there more to it ?

If you ripped the games yourself, then you are 99% likely to be fine. The games that you need to worry about are the ones that come from unknown sources on the internet.
People post review copies of games, bad rips, etc. Those are the dangerous ones.

That's sort of more disturbing than the alternative, because it means that MS is definitely stepping up their banning efforts to levels they haven't bothered with before.
I don't think it's disturbing at all. If you play a game 3 weeks+ in advance, it is fairly obvious to think you will get caught. You'll probably see the same thing happen with retards who played Guitar Hero: Van Halen already. If I get a game really early, I usually wait 3-5 days before release to play it. I made an exception for Forza 3 because of the bannings, so I started playing it yesterday.
Also, I know someone who got banned for playing Forza early. His GT got banned, but not his console. He made a new GT and was playing Forza again the next day.

I don't understand your logic. What do you mean by "get what is comming to them"? People are stealing from MS and MS wants to stop it. And you think MS is wrong?
Granted, I also feel their accessories are overpriced, but people aren't forced to buy a 360. It's their choice. It's not like MS is doing anything that will impact the average 360 consumer. The only people this will affect are the one's who wouldn't have purchased a 360 anyways, if it wasn't moddable.
I agree...i dont like the prices at all. But i cant blame microsoft cause theyre protecting their products.
