It comes on 2 discs, with disc 1 being the game and disc 2 being the 5 add-on packs. How does this work exactly though? Presumably you install disc 2 to your hard drive and then play from disc 1, but do you ever have to put disc 2 in the drive again once the content is installed? If anyone here has it and could tell me how it works, that would be cool. Cheers.
EDIT - Never mind. I found the answer I was looking for on IGN: -
Quote:The second disc for Xbox 360 and PC does not appear to have any restrictions placed on it. No code is required to import the add-ons and you don't need to be connected to Xbox Live. I was able to install the add-ons on multiple hard drives without a hitch, and saves carry over for anyone that has started the original Fallout 3 campaign. As far as I can tell, it's possible to buy one copy of the Game of the Year edition and simply trade the second disc around to friends that own Fallout 3 to let them install the add-ons for free.
damn...was just writing the answer out when you updated it, lol..oh well, but its the same as the forza3 second disc, install, and go back to disc one.

Cheers. The reason I asked is because I was wondering if I could borrow disc 2 off a mate, install the content, then give the disc back to him and play using my standard edition of Fallout 3 and it seems I can, so that's cool.
Ya I did the same thing with Oblivion game of the year it locks it to your HDD not your gamer tag like if you where to buy in on M$ Store. Just make sure not to dmg your HDD :P
