cant get the drive key

im tryin to flash my lite-0n dirve the 7 version i got the via card installed im using the lastest version of JF and i got ck3 pro (with spear) JF reads my drive im putting it on 707 im doing everything just like the tut when i click get key thats where the problem starts it takes about two minutes for the key to get returned once then it gets returned maybe 2 or 3 more times then i get bad serial data. I tried moving the drive in alittle and then out alittle but i still cant get it the most it will get returned is 4 times. some one suggested the i enter the numbers in manually to spoof my drive (the drive key number has been the same for the past two months, yeah its been that long ive been tryin to do this) So i wanted to see if i can get some feedback on this if this a good idea or if someone may have a another suggestion on how i can get thge drive key any help you can give me will be a huge help

It seems like you may have already grabbed the drive key off of this drive at some point - is that correct?

If that is the case, there is no need to get the drive key again. The drive key will never change.

ok i have the drive key now what do i do with it how do i put it in manually to continue flashing my drive

Dump your firmware in Jungle Flasher and save it as orig.bin.

Load that as your 'source firmware'. Load the iXtreme firmware as your 'target firmware'. Press 'spoof source to target' and make sure the drive key is the same as you know is valid for your drive. If not, choose 'enter drive key manually' (or some such option) and manually enter it.

Now choose 'Lite-On erase' from the correct tab. Then choose 'Write'.

Now you're done.

If that doesn't make sense, you need to read a few more tutorials.

i did it i finally flashed my lite-on drive i just entered the key in manually and followed the tut step by step and the flash was done i'd like to thank everybody who helped me out and to qwert99 a special thanks cuz i couldnt have done it with out you. Thanks Bro. if i can help anybody who has the same problem i HAD id be more than happy to share with you what ive learned. Thanks again qwert99
