As a beginner I dont know the significance of certain ImgBurn features. I have read from numerous sources that you should change the booktype to the brand of writer you have. I have a Pioneer and there is no Pioneer setting on Imgburn. Is it the same as another brand? Or does it not matter?
thanks for the reply. Also is verification important? Most youtube videos show the verify box unchecked? I have time to burn it on verify, just need to know whether doing so will hinder the burning somehow.

ImgBurn verification? Leave it checked. Once the burn is complete, it'll then check the burned disc against the ISO on your hard drive to see if there are any read errors or miscompares. It adds maybe 10-15 minutes to the total burn time, but it's worth doing because then you'll know if the burn is good or not. If a disc does have errors on it due to a bad burn, it might still boot on your console, but then it might keep freezing/crashing or giving you dirty disc errors part way through the game, so it's worth waiting the extra 10-15 minutes to verify every disc you burn IMO. This is especially true if you use cheap media, but I would advise you to only use Verbatim discs to help avoid any issues.
thanks for the info, Ill set it to burn after posting this. It is burning to cheap media, I bought 25 Arita discs ages ago before I even had a dual layer writer so stuck with them now. Im expecting this not to work but may as well try them before I buy the Verbatims. Do you know any good UK verbatim sellers?

I bought my last few spindles from Play.com, although I've just looked at their site and they've put the price of a 25 pack up from £24.99 to £29.99. Those are the printable ones BTW. SVP are currently doing 25 for £27.24 including shipping.
