OK Looked everywhere even google and can't find any information on this. I know how every now and then microsoft releases waves that make us have to update our firmware. But what is the wave from, like is there an update on the dvd drives that we dont get cuz ours is modded? Or is it the burnt discs that dont have the stuff that a retail disc have? Thanks for the help.

The wave 4 partition doesn't contain the dashboard update with Twitter etc. If they do put that update on game discs, that'll be wave 5. It'll be just my luck if they do it right after I flash my console with the new firmware, whenever it comes out, lol.

Oh ok so original discs will work.
yes they will,,only backups wont play without the proper firmware
