Wii now doesn't play burned disc's??????

Hi All

I desperatly hopeing someone might be to help me or at least point me in the right direction.

I have a soft mod on my Wii which was done using the twiilight hack and for many months i was happily downloading games, burning them using IMGBURN and then playing them on the Wii. However all of a sudden this stopped working and i'm not sure why?? Could it be that the software i'm using is out of date or could it be something else. All the games that i previously burned still work o.k so i am at a complete loss as to what to do?? I you have any ideas or any guides that might help please let me know so that i can get back up and running again.

P.S I have also heard that is possible to now to play games straight from a USB stick or hard drive. If this could overcome my problem please let me know.

Thanks for that and for getting back to me so quickly. I'll give it a try tonight. This might sound like a stupid question but how do check what firmware i have installed. I am a rank amatuer when it comes to this sort of stuff.

Go to. wii-wiisettings... then in the top right corner you will see a... ver4.1 or whatever your firmware is

I am a noob and just got the homebrew channel on my wii and burnt a wii iso to a dvd+r. How do I run the disc?

Again, follow the tut on the link provided above. Also, DVD-Rs are more favorable media for burning yor backups.
