I dont believe i am mate!

I haven't damaged or altered the console in any way so as far as im concerned its in the condition i received it.

If it make you feel better ill keep the sticker for another unit and sell it as opened :)

Metal cages on ebay are cheap and ive just tied removing and replacing one for practice and all went well mate, i just pried upwards a little while using a hair dryer to soften the plastic bits and it went back on just as easy :)

now that would be better. at least your not flat out lying about being unopened. you're just implying that it hasnt been opened. but would be curious to see what anybody's response would be to a potential buyer that asks if its been opened before.

I have a similar issue with a e74 error secondary 1022. I though I would be fine so I peeled the sticker which was a huge mistake! I bought from an ebay refurb store so it was a different sticker but can I reapply it if aligned correctly?
And should I re-flash my drive back to the original firmware?

As long as it doesn't look opened, send it to MS and they'll fix it. They don't care about drives from what I've heard but to be safe you could.

I was able to registrar the xbox but it said the standard warranty had expired.... damn....

Standard warranty is a year. The RROD warranty is 3.
