hello all, I've been wanting recently to get a Datel MAX Memory 2GB, but recently when I went online to see the reviews I've seen that the new MS update which will happen in November 2009 (From what I've read) will make all "Unofficial" Xbox 360 memory not read in the system. So all of your game saves will be not accessible, game content I wouldnt worry so much about as that can be re-downloaded. But I've also read that some people claim that you can alter the .BIN files to fool the 360 into thinking it IS an Official memory. Any word on that, or if all of this is BS? Thanks!
Thanks for the link! WOW, there sure is alot of complaining. Though I dont blame em' it is BS! But how about the .BIN thing! Any word if it is at all possible?
On topic: you can alter the ss.bin for hard drives to fool the xbox in to thinking it is an official microsoft product, so it could also be possible with a memory card.

Well in theory it should be possible, but actually getting it to work is another thing. Somebody might release a new memory card that will work with the update, I guess we will have to wait and see.
