Insignia is the biggest pile of steaming crap out there. By far NOT worth investing in seeing that Insignia products were the absolute, indisputable leader in returns, exchanges and warranty repairs when I worked for BestBuy. I suggest anyone pop the extra 30%(ish) to get something that will last a reasonable period of time. Insignia also doesn't have the same warranty service that name brands like Panasonic, Samsung, etc have. Bestbuy will only repair Insignia and replace after several attempts of unsuccessful repairing.............the rest often have a replace warranty.

Really? We bought an Insignia LCD TV/DVD player just before Christmas last year for the kitchen. Use it daily (a lot) and it still works fine. I guess we may have an out-lier...or maybe we have a PO'd ex-employee?
