Most true 2+ disc games are RPGs like Blue Dragon or Lost Odyssey, so you get prompted to swap the disc every few hours as you progress through the game.
With Forza 3, the second disc contains extra content that you install to your hard drive, so from then on you only need the first disc. The same with the Fallout 3 GOTY Edition. ODST has the campaign and Firefight mode on one disc, and the Halo 3 multiplayer executable and all of the Halo 3 maps (and some new ones) on the other.

Yeah that's what he meant. Not every few hours but when you reach a point to swap discs.
