Hi sorry if this question has been answered somewhere else I'M NEW AT THIS.
I have a wii with ver 4.1 & cIos 249 homebrew running usb loader GX.
I have backed up several games on to my hard drive with no problems.
Some will play & some won't eg: wii sports plays, Madden 07 does not.
Is there something I'm missing.
I just recently did the same to mine and I to use USB GX loader and I have found that games made by EA sports never work for me so I gave up on them. I think there is something missing possibly but I have asked on here a few times and on some other sights and no one has gave me a real answer yet. I have had problems with Sonic and the Secret Rings and Mario Party 8 and Wii music as well but all other games have worked great for me even brand new ones like a boy and his blob work great.
if you knew what you were doing or follow the guides correctly all games should work including EA games. Problem with certain people is they dont follow directions too well or cant read english.
OK guy tell me in your infinite wisdom what if anything I did wrong or what I may have missed. And if U can't offer any useful advise keep your opinions to your self.

If USB Loader Gx doesn't work, try Neogamma 7 Rev14 instead.
run wii sports resort through neogamma r7 ios249 choose option alternative dol yes, just before you start game where it gives you details of the settings push right and select player.dol watch the video on the motion plus all of it, press house button quit game go to neogamma r7 turn alternative dol off and load game, this works off the dvd-r so i guess it should off hard drive.
I did everything by larrys guide except the dop-ios part so I guess that could be my problem for the few games that don't work but I mean all the games load they just freeze. So do you think that could be the problem? Did you do that step WiiNewbi?
i did his previous guide had a few game problems did the DOP-IOS off the new guide and it sorted out res evil 4 so it should help, i messed up i loaded all the IOS files that i could from there in order not just the one he said, installed them the same way as described some are now no longer required and they are locked out
