I have had it for over a week, not put to disc yet but, if like fallout might not play it, I was never a fallout fan!!

Can't wait to play it, but I need to replace my DVD drive and have to wait until payday to make it happen.
I am hoping it will remind me less of Fallout 3 and more of Fallout 1 and 2!

I like it a lot. It's more of a FPS with rpg qualities. SO far, doesn't seem as open as fallout 3 in the sense where you choose missions... or just go all over. It seems more of a set path.

Cool. Honestly, I am just a sucker for anything post-apocalyptic at all, so I have to play it for that simple reason.
I've seen it compared to Diablo in that it is a hack/slash sort of game where there is a lot of grinding. That doesn't appeal to everyone, but it is certainly fun in its own way every once in a while.

yeah I heard that too. Guess I compare it to fallout 3 because it's the only thing close I played. Never played diablo, but guys online were saying that exact thing.

You realize that Borderlands takes place on another world that is dry and sandy right and not from like Earth after a major war.
Anyway, game is great, destroys Fallout 3 in all ways and is easily top 3 GOTY contender.

I have a level 25 Brick, 17 lilith, 10 mordecai, and 20 roland. I got it on "release day" and have already put in about 30 hours :P

Played for 5 hours straight and I now have a level 16 Soldier. Good game is good.

Just started playing and haven't gotten very far, still doing missions out of Fyreside (or whatever it's called).
Liking it so far, nice feel and layout to it.
