Hi guys i was with my wii in version 3.2u ans i updated it with the muramasa game, so when it finished that restarted my wii it went to a black screen and i alrealdy leaved it turned off for several hours but every time i turn it on it doesnt shows the system menu just a black screen and my controller doesnt connect....
what kind of brick is this? does it can be fixed?

OBS: The game that i used to update was a jake(not original) so i am not really shure if it is the same region of my wii(NTSC)...

It sure is scary isn't it! I had My first two brick events this week. The second time was maybe not a brick but I liked how the system worked after restoring it with my NAND back up. You know the thing BootMii as Boot2 created. Suck that I lost save game data from the last backup to current but The Wii if in working order.

there are actually two versions probably 3 version out by now of muramasame the game. You probably bricked it by installing a jap or pal version. You should always run brick blocker to see what region the game is first before you play it. So you have a level 1 brick in my opinion and it can be fixed. But only with wiifri unless youve back up your nand. I dont think you did so you are screwed.

well since you didnt back up your nand you are in huge trouble thats why you can only fix it with wiifrii now in my opinion. Or get a modchip and use the boot disk to fix your system menu.

As for losing everything you will, but you can always reinstall homebrew once your system is back to 3.2u.

Worst case is that you have to send it in to Nintendo to get fixed and that cost like 65 bucks i think but its better then buying a new one.

i been reading the forums like crazy these past 2 days trying to find a solution, i have a brick wii i tried to downgrade from 4.2 to 4.1 i restarted the wii and its just a black screen
Yes i know i should of installed bootmii but for some reason i could not install it,it wouldn't work, i tried the savemiifrii hack with the offical GC controller it that doesnt work either

i also have a 2nd wii 4.0 with bootmii installed & savemiifrii actually works on that wii would that help in anyway? i doubt it but i dont want to miss anything

i wanted to ask do i need to boot into the recovery mode using the gb controller before i use any autoboot disc?? or can i simply just use a modchip to run the autoboot disc with a black screen brick wii??(without using wiimiifrii)

Thanks for your time
