My computer has sata and I'm pretty sure IDE too so compatibility is not an issue. Just curious which company is better off to go with (i already ordered verbatim DVD+R DL from newegg)

Samsung's make everything well IMO, i have a stock samsung drive in my computer and it works fairly well.

Last week i bought a lite-on external drive and have had 0 coasters and i would highly suggest it.

My opinion is that the best burner for DVD+DL has to be Pioneer,
I have one and I wouldn't trade it for another brand ..
