According to new research from firm DFC Intelligence, games for the iPhone/iPod Touch will take a large 25 percent of the portable gaming market in 5 years as the Nintendo and Sony handhelds have nearly reached full saturation point. It may be true that the DS and PSP can not grow much larger but they will easily sale millions of "updated" versions to their current consumers.

The Icrap stuff is making headway but I can;t claim it to be the best of portable app/game/phone setup just yet. I really think apple should start looking to open up the Istore to more hardware they could easily dominate the portable software market(outside of traditional gaming) if they did so.

I think Iphone is another psp in terms of software because afterdawn just had an article on how much one of their games was bootlegged vs bought

Im still not throwing out my PSP yet and only using my ipod touch but I have found my self playing more apps them I thought I ever would.

iPod Touch has no buttons. Not even haptics feedback. End of story.
