What is your WIFI router make and model #. Is it an all in one unit(modem/router/wifi) or Modem then Router/WIFI. Dont care about the modem, just the WIFI/router. Has anything changed with your ISP lately that may have caused your SubNetMask to change. I recently had that problem. I had my PS3 set up Manualy and it would no longer work correct due to the SNM change.

I'll check the manual out. Make sure that you have "G" enabled.

Dont see that model # on Belkins sight yet.

my two cents is maybe he should hard reset the router. It could also be he needs to use a wpa2-psk security setup and set a wpa key to go along with it. Lastly it would be nice to know what happens when he scans for WLAN after he hard resets/ sets up a wpa2-psk security setup.

I see that i gave you the wrong address for your router. It is 192.168.2.1
Is your wireless light on solid.

From your manual.
I can?t connect to the Internet wirelessly, and my network name
is not listed.

If the correct network name is not listed under ?Available Networks? in
the wireless utility, please attempt the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Temporarily move computer, if possible, five to 10 feet from the
Router. Close the wireless utility, and reopen it. If the correct
network name now appears under ?Available Networks?, you may
have a range or interference problem. Please see the suggestions
discussed in the section titled ?Placement of your N Wireless
Router? of this User Manual.
2. Using a computer that is connected to the Router via a network
cable (as opposed to wirelessly), ensure that ?Broadcast SSID? is
enabled. This setting is found on the Router?s wireless ?Channel
and SSID? configuration page.
If you are still unable to access the Internet after completing these
steps, please contact Belkin Technical Support.

Other than that, i dont fool with Belkin, not that they arent good or anything.

well i dont know what you meant when you said make sure G is enabled and on my router control panel would it help if i wen on this setting

Wireless > Use as Access Point

ADVANCED FEATURE! The Router can be configured to act as strictly an Access Point, bypassing all of the routing and firewall functions. To do so, select "Enable" and type in the IP address you want the Access Point to have

You have a N router that also bradcast in B and G. The PS3 can only communicate in G. On my Linksys (B and G only), I can disable either B or G. G can transmit/receive at 54mps and B at 12 or 22mps, not sure which.
You want you WIFI to be a router and Access point.
It realy sounds like your is faulty since your laptop and PS3 wont see it. I would definitely call Belkin Tech support. The only thing that i saw in your manual as far as seeing if the WIFI was trying to work was that the WIFI LIGHT on the unit would be LIT SOLID.

But you say that your laptop wont find your WIFI either? In your other thread you said that the PS3 finds other WIFI signals but your PS3 and Laptop does not find Your Belkin. It has to be a problem with your Belkin not transmitting.
